Our results from the C.A.T. tests has come in and once again the students did very well. We cannot compare these results to the E.Q.A.O. results as the tests are very different. Overall here are the results:
The tests for Grades 1 and 2 are not similar enough to allow us to report with the rest of the school. Here is what we can report: 23 students in Grades 1 and 2 completed the battery of tests.
Gr 1- Reading : 88% of our students are performing at Competent/Proficient levels
Mathematics 88% of our students are performing at Competent/Proficient levels
Gr 2- Reading: 100% of our students are performing at Competent/Proficient levels Mathematics: 100% of our students are performing at Competent/Proficient levels
Gr 3-8
Reading- 88% at Competent/Proficient levels
Vocabulary-91% at Competent/Proficient levels.
Writing Conventions- 86% at Competent/Proficient levels
Spelling- 96% at Competent/Proficient levels
Mathematics- 96% at Competent/Proficient levels
Computation and Estimation- 86% at Competent/Proficient levels
Grade Equivalencies Gr 1-8 Braemar students are performing:
1.4 grades above their peer group in the category of Mathematics, Computation and Estimation.
1.2 grades above their peer group in the category of Writing (Word Analysis, Writing Conventions, Spelling, Vocabulary).
1.4 grades above their peers in the category of Reading.
