Braemar House School offers several different camps during the summer. Camps are open to both our families, and to the broader community. See below for the schedule…
Mad Science Camp (Run by Mad Science)
July 3 – 6,2018 – Ages 6-12
Theme – Flight Academy
Cost $195

Camp hours are from 9:00-4:00pm. If parents need extended care, cost is $16 for before care, $24 for after care, or $36 for both before and after. Before Care starts at 8:00-9:00am and After Care is from 4:00-5:00pm.
Engineering Science Quest Camp (run by the University of Waterloo)

Avalon
1. Musical Theatre Camp: This performance-based camp is for kids and teens who like to act, sing, and dance – or all of the above! Participants will be given the opportunity to learn improvisation, to create their own scripts, and to develop their own characters. The camp also focuses on stage management and production. Musical Theatre Camp ends with a performance at the end of the week, which parents and friends are welcome to attend.

Where: Braemar House School, Brantford
Fee: $249/student. Any student who registers before May 15 will receive a $50 discount.
2. Broadway Basics Camp: This ensemble program will help participants take performance skills to the next level! This performance-based camp will tackle challenging and varied songs from popular musicals, with emphasis on improving vocal technique, harmonies, breath control, and musicality. While there will be a focus on ensemble performance, solos will also be available to those who are interested. Students will learn important elements of stage performance and choreography, and will have the chance to put their own personal touches on stage performances. The week will conclude with a stage show that parents and friends are invited to attend.

A background in music is NOT required for participation in any of Avalon Music Academy’s camps. Camp sizes are limited, and Avalon Music Academy’s camps fill very quickly. Enrolment will be on a fist-come, first serve basis. Campers are responsible for bringing a lunch, drinks and snacks. All camps are strictly nut-free. A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of registration. The balance is due on the first day of the camp. There are no refunds once camps have started.
