A Message from the Principal
Braemar House School consists of innovative, dedicated teachers, enthusiastic, willing learners and supportive parents. All sharing the common goal of developing a well- rounded student, ready to take those next steps upon Grade 8 graduation. Braemar wants every student to recognize their place within our world. To become a global citizen, aware of the world they live in and the difference they can make in that world.
At Braemar the students have numerous opportunities not only within the core academic subjects, but also within the Arts, Physical Education, Digital Literacy and Financial Literacy. Each student is encouraged to try new activities, join teams and to challenge themselves to be open to new experiences. This is all done within a safe, supportive learning environment.
Enhanced opportunities are a significant part of our educational programming. Through activities like our Personal Wellness series in Grade 7 and 8, First Lego Robotics Team or our Primary Science and Music Enrichment clubs. Field trips are taken in every grade to enhance and support the curriculum within each classroom. An 8 week swimming program is also an integral part of our primary/junior physical education program.
Citizenship is not only taught but celebrated within and outside of our school walls. We are proud of our Virtues program and how it is integrated within everyday life here at Braemar. Our students get out into the community to help others, to make connections with all age groups and to learn more about the community in which they live.
We Strive For Excellence.
