Fall Harvest in the Food Garden
The cooler weather of Fall means harvest time in Braemar’s Food Garden. Our SK students harvested a pie pumpkin! The students took turns scooping out the “guts” and mashed the flesh once it was cooked. This was an important ingredient for their Apple Pumpkin muffin recipe. You can’t get fresher than this. From Food Garden to table in a day. What a wonderful hands-on learning experience!
