As Braemar House School celebrates its 20th anniversary and continues to be a thriving, well-respected independent school, this seemed like an ideal time to create the Legacy Trust. With the leadership of former Executive Director, Annette Minutillo, and several alumni families, notably the founding trustees of Braemar House School of 20 years ago, the idea and terms of the Trust were created.
“We all have a strong affinity to Braemar and feel there are a significant number of alumni families who value the role Braemar played in the education and development of their children, who are now wonderful young adults. We had a chance to connect with many of them this past December at our alumni carol sing, and they shared fond memories of their time at Braemar.” Annette Minutillo

Use of the Legacy Trust
To establish the Trust, the Trustees will reach out to alumni families inviting donations for the Braemar Legacy Trust. The Board of Directors has created a policy (13.10) confirming this is a Board-Restricted Cash Reserve to be used for capital project contributions, or special programming requests. The Executive Director may apply to access funds that are deemed appropriate and the Trustees will meet to approve and report back to the Board.
